Balloons over Amboise

Just as we started the barbeque these baloons took off right next to us on the Amboise campsite. Fantastic sight!

Now at Amboise camping on an island in the middle of the Loire. Enroute visited the Chateau de Chenonceau (below) which is breathtakingly beautiful.
Last p.m. had a slight "happening  "  when  Keefie broke the cork screw !!  As you will  guess, he managed to open the bottle !!

We have found that some campsites offer better facilities than others!

First week

Now on the banks of the Loire near Orleans. Spent the first week travelling through rural France, through lovely old villages and small towns. Using our bikes daily and Liz has only fallen off once. But don't worry, no bones broken!

In actual fact, we only have 600 tea bags for the journey!

Ready for the off! Nearly everything on board now....what have we forgotten? Customers still calling, so will be relieved when we escape the phones a last. Glad we stayed for the Royal wedding.... a real feel good day all round. Hope all our friends in the blogosphere enjoyed it too.

Are we prepared ?

Liz has so many to do lists she needs a list to keep track of them all! I have my own too for good measure and don't mention whats needed for the business before I go. But "DON'T PANIC!". Two years in the planning and only two weeks to go.
